COMPANY PROFILE

Founded, by Paul Smith in 1997, after working 25 years, for Drayton Kilns Ltd, Ceramic Services (UK ), now I.E.C Ltd is a newly formed company that will project and lead the ceramic industry into the next century, with a completely new and exciting approach to providing firing technology & services to the ceramic industry.

During the past 25 years, Paul Smith installed many new kilns, and large turnkey projects for leading ceramic manufacturers world-wide. This work involved him in the design, construction, and the installation & commissioning. He also carried out many re-furbishments of Drayton and other makes of kilns (Reidhammer, Heimsoth, Bricesco etc.).

The refurbishment work included: kiln re-locations & re-linings, kiln car base reconstruction's, and the installation of new combustion systems, mostly converting oil fired systems to either LPG or natural gas. He is particularly expert in the re-furbishment field.

Paul Smith has experience with all types of Ceramic manufacture, from Hard Paste Porcelain tableware, Bone China, Earthenware, Stoneware, Vitreous China Tableware, to Sanitaryware, Bricks, Tiles, and Special Ceramics,& he has worked on kiln installations in countries as far a field as, USA, CANADA, BRAZIL, MEXICO, IRAN, EYGPT, THAILAND, MALAYSIA, INDONESIA, CHINA, the PHILIPPINES, any many more.....

	Complete kiln installations - Tunnel Kiln including all automation Intermittent Kilns We are able to install all types of new and 2nd hand kilns and automation systems, including carrying out all commissioning work. We can either provide supervision for local labour or provide all labour and technical services as one package.
	Tunnel and Intermittent Kiln re-linings Kiln Car re-furbishments We are able to re-line all types of kilns, tunnels, intermittents, moving hoods, with all types of insulation bricks & ceramic fibre to suit. We can act as supervisors where local labour is used, or provide a complete service to suit individual client requirements.
	Kiln combustion systems We are expert in conversions from OIL fired combustion systems to gas, and up-dating gas fired systems with the latest PULSE-FIRED combustion systems available on the market today. We can also service & re-commission any combustion systems, using natural gas, LPG, OIL, Diesel etc.
	Automation All types of automation systems can be designed, installed, commissioned and serviced to suit individual customer requirements.
